Media savvy folks will not be disappointed in the alternative QR polka.
The great news is that the car park is 650m above sea level and is probably the highest point on any `A` road in Scotland large mountain tops are within relatively easy reach!!

This is an excellent point from which we have restively easy access to four hills, three of which are classed as `Munros` and all are over 3000ft. The route we take on Wednesday will depend on the weather conditions and outlook for the day ahead. It is unlikely that we will manage all four but we will manage two. Wednesday 14/05 -
Due to several of the members who regularly do the longer walk being on holiday this coming week, it has been decided to hold over the planned walk in the Stanley area for another time. To give the members who prefer less hilly walks nearer to home a chance to come out walking for the day, in place of the planned walk there will be an all-abilities walk in the west end of Dundee.
The walk will commence from the car park at the entrance to Riverside Nature Park and will head west round Invergowrie bay and Kingoodie bay before turning inland and heading in the Liff direction for lunch. After lunch, we will head back towards the river with views to the east end of Dundee. The exact length of the walk will be determined by time and the members turning up on the day.
